How is the fire risk assessment delivered?

It will be delivered by electronic copy (via email), however if you would like a hard copy, we will happily provide one.

How far in advance do I have to book?

If it is urgent, we can attend within 24 hours.

Can you help with enforcement notices?

Yes! We will assist you to ensure compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Will you liaise with the local fire authorities on our behalf?

Firecare 999 will be pleased to represent any client and liaise with the fire authority on your behalf to explore cost effective and acceptable solutions, with regard to the enforcement notice. We will continue to give you advice and support for a whole year afterwards.

Do you need access to all parts of the premises?

Access is required to all areas of the building to conduct the fire risk assessment, particularly the higher risk areas; such as electrical intake rooms, boiler rooms, kitchens, laundry rooms and plant rooms.

Can you advise us on other items, such as fire doors, emergency lighting, fire alarms and emergency evacuation chairs?

Yes, we will be very pleased to give us expert advice on all fire protection and suppression systems including evacuation chairs.

Can you produce a fire safety policy for our company and a personal emergency evacuation plan (PEEP)?

Firecare 999 is able to write personal emergency evacuation plans for any member of staff.

Can you help my company with statutory emergency evacuation drills?

We will happily assist you with your evacuation drills; for offices they must be conducted biannually and schools must have it conducted every term. Firecare 999 will be happy to watch, support, advise and issue you with a certificate as evidence of the evacuation drill.
